Rules Eligibility | World Movie Awards (WMAs)

Which films are eligible for the Global WMAs?

Only the WMAs of Merit winners who have actively promoted the safeguarding of Intangible
Cultural Heritage (ICH), integrated ICH elements from the Lists of Intangible Cultural
Heritage and the Register of Good Safeguarding Practices, or highlighted national
cultural artifacts within their motion pictures are eligible for consideration in the Global Awards.

SUBMISSION

Regional award recipients must submit a certification of entry to be considered for the global awards. Only those who complete this certification process will qualify for advancement to the global level.

NOMINATION

All nominations will be determined by the Global Committee.

VOTING

– Final voting in all categories will be reviewed by the Global Voting Committee and opened to the public for final winner.

– The WMA statuette will be awarded to the winning motion picture and other designated recipients.

The designated recipient(s), as listed on the entry forms and confirmed by the names and signatures of the key creative individual(s), will be recognized as the official awardee(s).
